"We arrive as a spark of light / with a story yet to write." We enter as pure consciousness (spark) and create a narrative (story). Stage 4 is about writing a good story while knowing the book will inevitably end.

"We don't get to decide... but I want to know I tried." This is the balance of Stage 4. Accepting the limits of your control (the tide) while fully engaging your will (the swimming). Peace comes from the effort, not the outcome.
